We’ll walk you through each step, from applying to joining the team.

1️⃣ Application

Every journey starts somewhere. Our career journey starts with your application.
Tell us about your experience, what you’ve worked on, and what you’re looking to do next.
Our Talent Acquisition (TA) team reviews each application thoroughly to understand your experience and how it aligns with the role.

Submission Guidelines

Resume (Required): Share your experience in a way that clearly shows your career path
Work Experience/Portfolio (Optional): Feel free to present your work in whatever way best highlights your strengths.

TIP: Go beyond listing what you’ve done.

Show us the impact you made, how you approached your work, and what you learned along the way.

2️⃣ TA Screening

In this step, you’ll have a conversation with a recruiter over a call or video.

It’s an opportunity to understand your experience and what you’re looking for next to making sure we’re aligned with each other.

The conversation usually takes around 20 minutes, and feel free to share your story in a comfortable setting.

During this time, we’ll also walk you through the role, our culture, and what to expect in the next steps.

Depending on the role, an English speaking assessment may be included, as many of our teams

work closely with global partners. If that’s the case, the recruiter will guide you through the details in advance.

3️⃣ Online Test

[R&D Positions] : Coding Test / Online Assignment

For R&D positions, you may be asked to complete a coding test or an online assignment.

This step helps us understand how you approach problems and apply your technical skills in practice.

It will be shared with selected candidates after the application review and completed online within a given time frame.

We’re not just looking at whether the answer is correct.

We also look at how you approach the problem, how your code is structured, and how clearly it’s written.

We pay attention to how you handle exceptional cases and how well you understand and reflect the requirements.

[Biz Positions] : AI-Based Evaluation

For business positions, we use an AI-based evaluation to better

understand your core competencies, work style, and communication style.

This isn’t a test with right or wrong answers

—it’s closer to a session designed to give us a deeper understanding of your strengths and how you work.

We encourage you to take it in a comfortable environment and respond as honestly as possible.

Further details will be shared individually with candidates moving to the next step.

4️⃣ Interview

[R&D Interview Process]

The Live Coding Interview is conducted in a One-Day format.

You’ll receive the result within 30 minutes

after the 1st interview. If you move forward to the

next step, the 2nd interview will take place on the same day.

[Biz Interview Process]

You’ll meet with at least three interviewers.

This allows us to take a balanced look at

your experience and strengths from different

perspectives, and have a more in-depth conversation.

Please note:

The process may vary depending on the role, and additional steps may be added if needed.
Interviews may be conducted either in person or remotely.

5️⃣ Salary Negotiation

Once all interviews are complete, we move into the offer stage, where we align on expectations and details together.

At Yanolja, we approach this process with fairness and transparency, respecting each candidate’s career path.

This step typically takes around 5–7 days.

Please note:

A reference check may be conducted depending on the role. In such cases, we will only proceed with your consent.

6️⃣ Offer

Once all details are aligned, including compensation and your joining date,

—and you’ve accepted the offer, we’ll guide you through the next steps to get ready for your first day at Yanolja.
